We make real food to fill an adventure seeker's need for day hike snacks, a health nut's desire for lower sugar granola, a busy parent's desperation for healthy on-the-go snacks, and just all-around pick-me-up joy for everyone in-between. Each bag of granola is thoughtfully constructed because at our core is a busy mom who had a desire for healthy granola and a kindness to share.
AND GUSTOLA GRANOLA WAS BORN!
One could argue that this UW-Madison Badgerin', US Peace Corps volunteerin', children's book writin', Birkenstock wearin' gal was just destined to land in the world of granola.
Angela Gustafson began (and still does begin) each morning with a run outside through the cold, rain, sun, and falling leaves before her kids even stirred. But when she returned, Angela needed something nutritious, delicious…and fast! She needed something that would stand up to her and her rousing family. After stumbling upon a granola recipe, Angela started tweaking, fiddling, elevating, and ultimately landing on this mix of high-quality ingredients that put extra vroom! and joy into their busy lives.
And because Angela is a Midwesterner, and Midwesterners are required to share great food with neighbors, she began delivering hand-wrapped granola mix to friends, family, coaches, and teachers. Those people, in turn, became devotees. So, she rallied her four kids into a fun summer business adventure at a local farmers market and Gustola Granola was born!

In a nutshell (no pun intended), we feed people who demand real, authentic food that tastes delicious. We are here for those in need of a quick, delicious bite before racing out the door, from finicky little kids to sophisticated big kids. Besides, who doesn't want handcrafted foods that taste fresh from mom's oven?
